perinatal services

From the story of your birth to the story of your becoming, every part matters.

Private perinatal class

A private prenatal class with a therapist offers personalized emotional preparation for birth through a trauma-informed and systemic lens. Together we’ll explore how past experiences, fears, and hopes shape expectations for birth and parenthood. My focus is on creating safety, understanding triggers, and building emotional and relational resources within the context of each person’s unique history, identity, and support systems. We will discuss labour from a physiological and psychological perspective, from labour to postpartum.

Please get in touch if you’d like more information on what this looks like.

Every story begins with a birth, a becoming, or the longing for one. As a doula, I witnessed the hope, uncertainty, and heartbreak of pregnancy, birth, and trying to conceive. As a therapist, I continue that work of holding space, helping you process your experiences, make sense of your story, and find your own strength

from doula to therapist

I became a doula after the birth of my first child, and in that experience, I realized that I was being birthed into motherhood myself. It was a transformative moment that showed me the profound depth of change, growth, and vulnerability that comes with welcoming a new life. Since then, I have attended many births over 10 years, witnessing moments of incredible beauty and joy, as well as sitting with parents through loss, fear, and outcomes no one could have anticipated. I have also been teaching prenatal classes for six years, supporting parents as they prepare for birth and early parenthood.

These experiences taught me the power of presence, compassion, and holding space not just for babies, but for the people bringing them into the world. Over time, I realized that the care and support I offered as a doula naturally extended into the emotional and psychological realm. Becoming a therapist allowed me to continue this work, helping clients process their experiences, make sense of their stories, and find strength, healing, and resilience in the midst of life’s most profound moments. My work is rooted in the same deep care that guided me through those births, now expanded to support the full spectrum of emotional and mental wellbeing.
